Goal: $22,000
Over the past two and a half years we've been able to raise over $180,000 for women and children in need. This completed the well project at Dorothy's House in Mexico and solar electricity for Casa Shalom in Guatamala. Next, we'd like to raise $22,000 to finish the "Big Sister" apartment at Dorothy's House. This will provide more comfortable accommodations for the women who live on site and oversee the facility.
MAKE A DONATIONDoes it ever boggle your mind that our problem is too much stuff when so much of the world is just struggling to get by? Do you ever feel like managing stuff is holding you back from being able to help others? When I first met Dorothy a couple of years ago, I was blown away by how she had given up everything to help women... at the age of 65. Now in her 80s, she continues to fight for justice for abused women. What an honor to get to come alongside her. See below for more specifics about the Big Sister Apartment project!
GOAL: $22,000
Amount Raised: $63,262.00 (WOW! 🤯 Thank you!! ♥️)
*All extra money raised will be sent to Dorothy's House to help even more women! Thank you!!!

The Big Sister Apartment
There is a lot of growth and development going on at Dorothy's House! With your help we were able to build the well and help finish the coffee shop. The next project is to build out an apartment for the on-site director so that she can be present at all times to help the women who are staying there. This is what it looked like a little earlier this year—how awesome it would be to help them finish it!
MAKE A DONATIONMore About Dorothy
The mission at Mujeres Nuevo Comienzo ("Dorothy's House") is to be a place where women are fed spiritually, loved unconditionally, provided with food, clothing and a safe home, taught basic literacy and life skills, as well as trained and equipped with work skills.
They opened their doors in 2011 after recognizing the lack of available resources in the rural Baja California, Mexico, for those who had been trafficked.
Over a decade after the program's opening, Dorothy's House continues to bring hope to vulnerable women and children.
THANK YOU!
Wow, I am blown away by your support, I didn't imagine we could raise so much money for Dorothy's House in such a short amount of time! And, in case I haven't said it recently, I am so grateful for your love, support, and encouragement throughout the year—it means more than you'll ever know! I love you and I believe in you. Let's keeping simplifying our homes and lives so that we can help others and make a huge difference in the world! ♥️
